Bloody Marys are an interesting drink – they are great with Brunch and Coffee, and it’s fascinating just how many varieties there are. When I’m visiting a new place I always try to try a local one or two. It’s an interesting habit and makes for some interesting side-trips. This is my chronicle of Bloody Marys I have Known.
CAYA Smokehouse Bloody
This one was lurking in a phone dump from 2017. I can rag on the cuisine of Michigan for a long while, but there are some places that get things right. The CAYA Smokehouse in Walled Lake MI is one such. Not only do they serve some great BBQ, but their Bloody’s are good too. Nicely spicy, with a shaved pickle as a garnish.
